Proven Value of Personalized Catalogs
Hundreds of America's leading companies have run detailed, scientific tests of the effectiveness of personalization on all kinds of direct mail advertising. Each year the Pront On Demand Initiative (PODi) publishes Best Practices in Digital Print to spotlight these exciting marketing success stories.
Unfortunately, these annual reports do not document any cases of personalized catalogs -- for a very simple reason: Until VPiColor releases its revolutionary, patent-pending hardware and software, there is no publicly avaiable solution capable of automatically generating personalized catalogs based on customer profiles.
But that does not mean there is no company using personalized mail-order catalogs.
VPiColor's software and equipment is currently in use, very successfully generating catalogs for mail-order retailers in our own develpment lab. Advanced tests have been conducted at test sites operated by three major high-speed variable printer manufacturers, Hewlett-Packard, NexPress and Xeikon.
Complete systems will shortly be installed for beta-testing at mail-order and printing companies.
Companies wishing to get a jump on the market may participate in our Early Adopters/Beta Testing program. Participating companies will be offered lower installation and system integration costs, per-page fees and initial deposits, and will be allowed to withdraw from use of the VPiColor systems and receive a refund of the unused portion of their initial deposits if they so wish.
